COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

Bottle from Hakim, thanks - Color: cloudy pale blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: nice fruity domination. Peach and apricot nose. Small yogourt finish. Taste: light medium body with sweet malt and sweet cereal. Balanced with fruity as peach and apricot. Sweet finish. Cereals. good attenuation and really drinkable. Yoghurt notes. Aftertaste: sweet apricot and yoghurt.

Thnx to the representive ( yes, apparently GI has a representive now in BE, as they will soon start to import this brewery in Belgium. Of course, nothing like BCBS, only this type of... beer... ) Pours rather unclear blonde, not much head, and it fades instantly. Smell is weak. Taste is very weak. Slightly metallic maltyness, some corn-flake taste, but overall very very tasteless and wattery. Not sure how this would be a convincing beer to anyones palate. I can see people drinking loads of this, but not for its taste, more like a lager-style of drinking.

Bottle. Not that good. Good session beer with some fruits. Creamy and smooth. Could be much better.

Pours yellow gold, initially very cloudy from wheat and yeast, with small white head that dissipates quickly. Clears to very attractive Sauternes gold. Nose is wheat and yeast. As it warms, apple and honey scents emerge. But the palate is more straight forward, without many of the spice and fruit notes common to European wheat brews. In their place, theres some of the inevitable hoppiness that makes a beer "American" or "urban" or "hipster." But even that is fairly controlled. Overall, its a nice, drinkable beer, but not one that makes a big impression. Sometimes, thats what you want.

Licht wazig gelig bier met kleine romige witte schuimkraag. Aroma: citrus, moutig, tarwe. Licht mondgevoel met matig koolzuur. Smaak: zurig, bitter, pittig. Korte afdronk met bitterig eind en zurige toets.

Poor example of a wheat ale, little banana or spice on the nose, and a rather dull flavour.

Taste: bit sourish start, grains, malty, pretty bitter, metallic, bit spicy, little dirty. Aftertaste: very metallic, bitter, bit spicy, some coriander? Sourish touch with a hoppy finish.

Vary heady and complicated. A tough challenge for any beer man. One of the best.

35.5cl bottle at home (1 IV 2016), shared with a friend. An unfiltered urban wheat from Goose Island, hazy amber in a glass with frothy foam head. The grains flavours are vast and omnipresent, yet the hoppiness is as strong. Just a great drinker. Think of an american pale ale (APA) with wheat and hops-powered. The bitterness is very short, and the body is light. Other taste sensations are grain and some turf. Even though it is not my favorite style, I love this smooth drinking hoppied wheat ale.

Bottle from Berts Slightly hazy light golden color with a smallish off white head. Spicy earthy lemony with some bits of sweet bready and grainy malt. Not horrible, but not something Id likely grab again.
