COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Bottle from a tesco in Bristol. Pours hazy yellow. Nose is wheat, faint citrus. Palate is tart, watery. Not that good.

Goose Island describes this beer saying it is loaded with character and I have to disagree. Although the beer itself is quite drinkable and refreshing, it is as basic as a white girl in yoga pants ordering a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks. Slight wheat presence with a golden color and medium head, this is a beer to chug down after a hot summer day without thinking too much about it.

Semi hazy yellow liquid, small head. Weak aroma of yeast. Light body, tiny little bit carbonation. Taste is sour, bitter, and overall weak.

355ml brown bottle, unfiltered (though with no sediment) from local Co-Op. This is a pleasant wheat beer, though it has a watery texture. There’s a modest spice, and a gentle Cascade fragrance. It’s quite dry and lager like. I would have preferred more body, more sweetness, and more overall character. The hops were OK for me, adding .a light tropical note to what is intended to be a refreshing drink. Yeah, I could drink this again.

Robe blonde, fine mousse. Nez assez basique, farine, fruit jaunes, pointe d’agrumes.

Canned at Tim Can. Pretty average. Mostly malt but lacks crispness. Not a fan.
