COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

A cloiudy, straw coloured beer with a thick foamy head. A sweet, dry malt scent. Flavour is a little bland but pleasant. A bit malty, a bit hoppy. Easily drinkable but not remarkable.

355 ml bottle bought at YATA in Mong Kok.

Clear golden yellow colour with a small ring of dirt-like yeast sediments; Three-quarter finger head and white foam which last for 1 minute; Fair sticky lacing with active carbonation; Fragrant aroma of light Ale malt, with strong apricots, strong plums, dark fruits, banana, strong floral, sugar, light biscuits and light grass; Light sweet taste of light Ale malt, with fairly strong wheat, faint tartness, floral, hint of molasses, light spice, bread, light lemon, light bitter hops and light grass; Mid to light body. Quite crisp and slick palate; Mouth Feel is light Ale maltyness in a slick background. Very simple wheaty taste with little tartness. Flowery with almost no sweetness. Light bread and yeasty with light lemon to round. Pretty neat Hoppiness is strong apricots, strong plums, dark fruits, strong floral and light grass in nose. Floral, light spice, light lemon and light grass in taste; Bitterness is low for an abrupt, low astringent bitter wheaty finish; Quite dry after taste. Smooth and light bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has some very strong sweet fruity hops aroma, quite unusual for an Wheat Ale, but taste-wise its rather pedestrian, just weaty and low-blow floral hops without much surprise. Drinkable but special, if only the nice aroma can carry onto the taste!

I like wheat beer. They take me back to my college days. I think this is a fine version that is not going to break the bank. I prefer this to boulevards unfiltered wheat.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear straw yellow with little head. Aroma was almost non-existent with mild fruit notes. Flavor was peach, straw, and wheat. Light body, thin texture, bubbly carbonation, smooth finish.

Aroma faint, bit of citrus. Taste with slight bitter notes. Plaesant but watery, even considering its low alcohol content.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2016 Butelka 330ml. Metny zloty kolor. Piana biala, srednia opada dosc szybko. Ziarnisty posmak ,trawa i sloma...lekko cytrusowy finisz. Bardzo ubogie smakowo i zapachowo ...podstawowa baza i nic wiecej.

A 12 fl oz bottle with a best before date of 26th July 2017, poured into a Spiegelau American wheat beer glass. It poured a hazy golden straw yellow colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quite quickly and left pretty much no lacing. Aromas of sweet malt, grainy, cereal and a touch of lemon. Tastes bready, light sweet apple, corn, grain and lemon. Crisp, light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Overall, I understand when people say that its a refreshing summer beer, but even so, theres nothing interesting in its aroma or taste. Unfortunately, this one is not for me.

Goose Island describes this beer saying it is loaded with character and I have to disagree. Although the beer itself is quite drinkable and refreshing, it is as basic as a white girl in yoga pants ordering a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks. Slight wheat presence with a golden color and medium head, this is a beer to chug down after a hot summer day without thinking too much about it.

Was not creamy at all, as was suggested in the description. It was mild, and not too bitter from the hops. I wasnt able to assess the color, so Im basing my rating on the appearance of the bottle. It wasnt very strong which I particularly liked about the beer.

Semi hazy yellow liquid, small head. Weak aroma of yeast. Light body, tiny little bit carbonation. Taste is sour, bitter, and overall weak.
