COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Bottle, Albert Heijn. 355ml. Pours golden, white head. Typical wheat nose, phenolic, slightly sour. Medicine like. Bit dull aroma, but good for the style. No flaws, wheat upfront but for once without an overdose of coriander.

12oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy golden yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that steadily receded, down to a thin wispy film with a small collar and possessed fair streaky lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt, floral hops and a sweaty yeast with a note of citrus (lemon) and just a bit of spice (coriander I believe). The taste was lightly sweet and citrusy throughout, progressing with a mild yeast presence and a lightly bitter spicy ending. The flavor however was short lived, fading from the taste buds in a matter of a minute or so, leaving behind mildly spicy bitterness which did not last much longer. Mouthfeel was light in body with a creamy, dry texture and a carbonation that just surpassed medium in intensity. Overall this was a pretty decent Wheat Ale, tasty and refreshing with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Although I feel it could have had a stronger yeast presence to round it out… www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

Pale, hazy yellow with very little white head. Light aroma, some sweetness and a little hops. Crisp flavor has some citrus and grain. Not terrible.

poured a boring almost clear piss yellow color with some lacing. Nose of dough, bread, and citrus. Non complex taste with basic notes of lemon peel and a slight floral/hay finish. Overall it’s as average as can be. There are plenty of waaayy better wheat ales out there to enjoy

Bottle at home. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of malts, wheat and citrus. Taste is sweet malty, wheat, citrus, malty bread dough yeasty finish. Bit watery, but quite refreshing.
