COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

Delivers what it promises. Good refreshing summer beer. I give this one a few bonus points because it put goose island on the map. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. A fresh citrus aroma. The clear yellow beer has a medium white head. A sweet taste, citrus and grains. Medium carbonated.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a Weizen glass. The label has a "Bottled On" date but no ABV% Appearance: It has a very light hazy straw yellow color with some fine yeast sediment in suspension. There is a little visible carbonation as well that helps support it nice foamy white head. The head hangs on well and makes a few cool lace rings near the top of the glass. Smell: The aroma is light and has a simple clean bready/yeast character. Taste/Palate: There is a light clean bready/biscuit like malt base with a very light hop bitterness. The finish is snappy and the light body and texture are refreshing. Notes: There not much to say. It hits its mark as a basic Pale Wheat Ale.

Bottle. Pours cloudy soft gold with foamy white head. Smells citrusy and semi floral with hints of some spice. Tastes spicy like cloves and some citrus. Bitter aftertaste that doesnt match the beer. Overall, its pretty good.

a_cross (639) - Poole, Dorset, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2012
Cloudy, amber, thick white head; malty aroma like any old pale lager; gentle wheaty, fruity taste; smooth, a little spice, but essentially boring; disappointing for someone whose beer interest was partly rekindled by a particularly fine bottle of their IPA.

Goose Island has better offerings. A cloudy pale ale with some spice notes and fruit notes. Fairly smooth.

12oz bottle. Aroma: Sour wheat, lemon, light malt. Boring. Appearance: Light orange in color and hazy. White head was full and foamy with decent retention. Not much lacing. Flavor: Lightly sour wheat, some light malt and yeast, lemon. Spritzy finish. Palate: Medium-light bodied and a little watery. Medium carbonation. Overall: Dull and boring. Nothing that would make me want to order another.
