COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

...light straw yellow color, a little wheat and bananna on the nose. Low carbonation. Flavor of wheat, with awatery finish. Was looking for something more here but, oh well, nothing special. Finished watery, with a hint of wheat, and nothig else. Wont buy again.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow...aroma is faint, lightly citrusy. Flavor is quite citrusy...lemongrass and banana. Very light. Pretty decent though.

Im kind of surprised the ratings are so low on this. Im not a big fan of wheat ales by any means but this one seemed to have a few things going for it that others in they style have failed for me. For one thing the pour was nice with a large white head that actually lasted for once, nice lacing on the glass. The aroma while light of hay and straw also provided a slight fruity sweetness that was inviting. The taste is light and crisp in the mouth with yeast and wheat combining for a light doughy taste, really it was almost pastry-like due to the subtle fruity sweetness this beer provides. Lastly, the bitch actually had some hops to speak of and left you with a decent finish considering the style. Very well blanced in my opinion between the wheat and yeast you would expect, as well as a touch of fruit and hops. Not bad and very refreshing to boot. This one is underrated if you ask me.

Bottle from GI Japan web store. Slightly hazy straw gold, low head. Biscuit malt aroma, a little musty, wheat, lemon, spice. Nice basic flavour of malt and citrus hop. Good wheat body over the palate, refreshing carbonation, very clean and crisp. Nothing too much to think about, tasty malt, no off flavours, very crushable.

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. It poured a clear golden yellow with good carbonation and a white, bubbly, quickly dissipating head. Moderate aroma and taste of wheat and malt.

Pint on tap at OHare airport. Pours a hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aromas of orange lemon and a bit of wheat and straw. Flavor is very clean wheat with some lingering citrus. Body is light with a dry feel. Finish leaves the usual wheat flavor behind

The bottle poured a hazy pale yellow beverage with a small smooth white head that lasted well and left decent lacing on the glass. The aroma presented a spicy blend of hop aroma with citrus and earthy tones lurking in the background. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a somewhat dry texture. The flavor started off tart and watery. It had a medium finish with a tart, somewhat dry character leaving a clean mouthfeel.

35.5cl bottle at home (1 IV 2016), shared with a friend. An unfiltered urban wheat from Goose Island, hazy amber in a glass with frothy foam head. The grains flavours are vast and omnipresent, yet the hoppiness is as strong. Just a great drinker. Think of an american pale ale (APA) with wheat and hops-powered. The bitterness is very short, and the body is light. Other taste sensations are grain and some turf. Even though it is not my favorite style, I love this smooth drinking hoppied wheat ale.

Pours hazy light straw color with a small white head. Faint nose, light fruit and grassy hops. Similar flavor, light and crisp, somewhat hoppy with some lemon and grass. This is an easy to drink beer, would be a little better if the flavors were more prominent.
