COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Very carbonated, very filling. I had two large drafts with dinner in Wadsworth last nite, couldn’t finish the last one due to feeling very full.

Poured from a bottle into a tall glass. Appearance is hazy yellow with a white foamy head. A bit of lacing. Smell is wheat, hay, a little fruity. Taste is a little fruity up front, straw, and finishes quickly. Not much to it.

Pours a cloudy light gold in color. About a half inch of head on the pour, but it’s quickly gone. Smell is spicy, but off slightly. Taste is hoppy, but rather BMC’ish. Highly carbonated in the mouthfeel. Refreshing, but not good enough to warrant another purchase.

Tsekouratos (604) - Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, GREECE - MAY 30, 2014
355 ml bottle at The Local Pub, Athens Greece. Yellow golden color, slightly hazy, white thick head. Aromas of yeast and spices. Sweet taste, malts, yeast, some sweet fruits, maybe some bread. Sweet aftertaste, sticky-oily mouthfeel. Light body with medium carbonation.

Beautiful pour of orange fog with a nice foamy head that lasts. Smells light and a hint of citrus. Taste is real smooth and light, but not a lot there.

arondee (601) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Pours a light yellow with a thick white head. The aroma is wheat, lemons, and fresh cut grass. The taste is slightly funky off-tasting wheat (not too bad), lemon, and water. Pretty inoffensive wheat beer. Easy to drink a lot of these. Not all that great, a little boring, a little funky from the wheat going bad, nothing special.

Bottle.<!-- br --> Pours a light yellow with a large head that quickly disapates leaving decent lacing. Nose is light, bready with a very thin fruity component. Flavor is watered down, somewhat skunky, apple juice. It’s not undrinkable, just not something to be seeking out.

On tap. A - Hazed, pale gold color with an average sized, whispy, creamy, frothy, tight, pearl white head. Decent retention with a thin layer of lace. S - Nice tart lemony aroma with some grassy and banana hints as well. Good amount of malted wheat aroma gives it a base. Pretty well spiced but nothing too strong. Pretty typical for the style. T - Pretty nice, refreshing taste. Wheat and grainy base are nice and provide a lot of the flavor. A good level of lemon rind, grass/lemongrass, spice and just a hint of banana. Pretty zesty/tart for the style, but balanced out by the wheat flavor. M - Light body with very nice carbonation. Quite creamy and goes down very smooth. D - Very easy to drink, smooth, refreshing beer. Has enough zest and spice to keep it interesting and have me coming back for more. Notes: Very nice pale wheat beer that is quite refreshing. Good summertime, thirst quencher. Also has a good amount of spice, zest, and hints of hops to kick up the wheat a bit.

...light straw yellow color, a little wheat and bananna on the nose. Low carbonation. Flavor of wheat, with awatery finish. Was looking for something more here but, oh well, nothing special. Finished watery, with a hint of wheat, and nothig else. Won’t buy again.
