COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

Not offensive wheat beer. No bad after tastes. Slight lemon on the nose. Not my style.

Hazy Yellow with a soapy head, high carbonation and decent lacing. Smells like cereal grains, wheat, pale malts, grassiness, and some slight floral hops. Taste is mostly cereal grains, pale malts, some slight wheat notes and mild earthiness. Body feels a bit heavy with some rather strong carbonation. Quite disappointing, tastes more like a Bud than a Wheat Beer.

Hazy golden wheat beer. Nice wit style beer but nothing to write home about- understated (by which I mean a little bland) but immensely drinkable because of this. Leaves a nice coating afterwards though so helps with the mouthfeel ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very smooth and a nice change of pace from the stronger ales I usually frequent. I like that it comes in a can which is a trait I appreciate because of recycling and if you are counting calories (which Im not) it is comparable to many light beers, but with way more taste. Found it at the grocery store on sale so the price was right and Im not disappointed with the purchase.

Bottle from Americus Package. Hazy gold in color with white head. Aroma of citrus. Taste of hops, wheat and a bitter aftertaste. Decent cheap beer

So where exactly in the 312 might one grow a little urban wheat for this ale? Or am I being too literal? Im enjoying this in the early spring and thinking how nice it would taste on a hot summer day -- if Wisconsin gets any this year. The aroma and taste are nicely subdued and it all works.

Very dissapointing from such a good brewer. It does look unfiltered. But unfiltered what grass and lemon? I brought this home all the way from chicago?

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2013 On tap, Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a light white head that leaves light lacing. Smells of citrus, lemon, wheat and coriander. Tastes of all the same things with a slight clove flavor and sourness. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with a semi dry finish. Overall It?s not a bad wheat beer but nothing special either.
