COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Pours hazy light straw color with a small white head. Faint nose, light fruit and grassy hops. Similar flavor, light and crisp, somewhat hoppy with some lemon and grass. This is an easy to drink beer, would be a little better if the flavors were more prominent.

Een tarwebier, dat ook een duidelijke hoptoon heeft. Blond, licht troebel en een lichte schuimkraag. Lekker.

Hazy unfiltered yellow. Good Head. Citrus and Malt. Easy To Drink. Favorite on a hot summer day. Good.

davidezdonz (566) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - NOV 8, 2016
A 12 fl oz bottle with a best before date of 26th July 2017, poured into a Spiegelau American wheat beer glass. It poured a hazy golden straw yellow colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quite quickly and left pretty much no lacing. Aromas of sweet malt, grainy, cereal and a touch of lemon. Tastes bready, light sweet apple, corn, grain and lemon. Crisp, light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Overall, I understand when people say that it’s a refreshing summer beer, but even so, there’s nothing interesting in its aroma or taste. Unfortunately, this one is not for me.

Cracked wheat and orange aromas. Taste is syrupy oranges and cracked wheat.

WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 1, 2010
Pours a hazy straw color. Moderate white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is wheat and tart citrus. Similar flavor. Minimal aftertaste. Very refreshing lawnmower beer.

Optigon (562) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - JAN 31, 2007
Pours orange-yellow. Thin wheat flavor with very little body. Refreshing in a sense that it wouldn’t be bad on a summer day, but it isn’t horribly satisfying.

Slightly hazy dark yellow. Aroma vaguely apple, grass, turpentine. Taste is slightly sweet, wheaty, lemony hops. I tend to prefer my wheat beers more European style than this.

2.5
Alldaydrinker (559) - Norwood, Massachusetts, USA - APR 11, 2009
Draught. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium foamy white head. Nose of wheat, yeast, fruits, little banana. Initial taste of mild wheat, citrus, banana. Watery body, belove average palate duration, too simple one dimensional not challenged wheat ale. Average head retention and light body. Overall not impressed.
