COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

12 oz pours a hazy yellow with a foamy head. Big fruity aroma. Soft body with yeasty taste, some wheat and some fruits at the end. Decent lawnmower beer.

This was definitely the best beer that I had during my time in Chicago. It has a very yeasty aroma and a cloudy appearance. It is clearly unfiltered and tastes wonderful. Its very creamy with the taste of yeast and hops, with a hint of lemon? This is a very good beer, which I highly recommend.

Semi hazy yellow liquid, small head. Weak aroma of yeast. Light body, tiny little bit carbonation. Taste is sour, bitter, and overall weak.

12oz bottle - Poured a hazy light straw color with nice white head. Aroma was sweet and smelled like grains. A light mouthfeel with wheat and malt taste. This beer is very easy to drink and is slightly watered down tasting which is nice on a summer day. I was fairly satisfied because it is alot better than Miller or Bud at close to the same price $6.29 a 6pac.

Pours a yellow color. About one finger white head. A little cloudy, not as much as I would have expected. Okay retention, okay lacing.

Aroma is slightly lemony. Its bready. Bran flakes? Not a lot going on. Smells like water. Everything about the aroma is faint.

Taste is lemony, bready, watery. It has a bit of grit to it. Theres not a lot to it. Slightly bitter, I think more bitter than 18 IBUs.

Mouthfeel is light body. Its so light, and would make a great summer beer. Its quite dry. That bitterness lingers. Bit.

Overall, its not that great. There are tons of better wheat beers out there. I would drink it again. But Im not going to rush out and buy it again. I would recommend this as a summertime, hot day beer, but necessarily for my own cooler. But hey, I do recommend you give this a try, because then youll have a better appreciation for better wheat beers.

Een tarwebier, dat ook een duidelijke hoptoon heeft. Blond, licht troebel en een lichte schuimkraag. Lekker.

Had this at Giordanos with a slice of lemon (wtf giordanos?...) - The beer itself is like a witbier without the belgian touch, but with american hops! Very good, flavors of lemon, coriander, wheat banana and cloves. Crisp and light. Finishes off with a nice low bitterness.
