COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

An aggressively average beer, pouring golden yellow into my chilled glass with a substantial white head. The flavor is a malty wheat blandness with the merest hint of a hoppy follow through.

Bottle at Navy Pier. Pours a light opaque color typical of a wheat ale. Aroma is citrusy and hoppy but a little more doughy/stale than expected. Flavor was very mild and bitter with some sweet/spicyness. Nothing really too special. Palate is unremarkable. Not too great but its worth a try when in Chicago.

Mooi troebel biertje met kleine schuimkraag erop. Bier is heerlijk zacht van smaak, goede keuze.

So what makes this Urban, I dont know? Pours a cloudy yellow with a slight layers of white head. Aroma is lemon bread, pleasant. Tastes like it smells, wheat, yeast, and lemon are noted. Light body and slick. Not bad when you are in the mood for something on the mellow side of the scale.

i was a little let down with this one. this wheat beer was clear. the beer is not filtered but it is over centrifuged! missing the yeast taste.

Poured from a bottle, hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of spices and lemon. Taste is sweet with a pod tart aftertaste. Good carbonation. Decent wheat, maybe the best one I can get my hands on from local stores. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very cloudy - too cloudy. Too yeasty - covered up the wheat flavor. A little spice and citrus.

Legacy rating. Pours pale straw coloured with bubbly white head and some cloudiness. Aroma strongly wheaty, with a little spice. Tastes very watery.

Part of a flight - five50 in LV. Cloudy yellow with white head. Tons of lacing. Aroma is subtle, wheat and a hint of banana. Similar taste and also subdued. Body is light, a bit foamy in the mouth. Largely unremarkable wheat beer.
