COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

Pours light hazy yellow with a moderately sized white head. Aroma is light wheat character, Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Starts off with smooth wheat character - not much else at the beginning. The finish is prickly and somewhat metallic.

Bottle to sampler cup. Pours a light yellow, clear & sparse head. Watery and basic. Seems they brew this to compete with macrobrew wheats like blue moon & shocktop. Meh.

First time Ive been disappointed with a GI product. Poured a cloudy blonde with a healthy head. The aroma was foul, but there wasnt much of it so Ill give them some points there. Flavor was sweet with bananas and a little malt. Just not much there.

An average American wheat ale. Watery tasting with an average palate. I need to try this again as Ive recently become more interested in wheat ales and some of the Goose Island Ive had over the past 6 months has actually been pretty good.

Little aroma with decent color, this American Wheat is a good ’gateway’ beer, owing to the popularity of Goose Island in the US. Not a bad interpretation of the style...the only problem is, this style is just lacking compared to the German and Belgian Wheats it’s derived from.

When poured the beer looks to be unfiltered. Hazy straw like color with lots of floating sediment. Citrusy lemon nose. Mildly carbonated and dry, with notes of lemon and grass flavors, and a touch of hops in the finish. An okay beer/wheat.

Pours a light hazy gold. The aroma is wheat and maybe some spicy citrus. The taste is American wheat and really not much more.

bottled. pours pale golden with an average white head. smells of citrus and herb and grass. it is lightly sweet and light bodied. not much finish. reminds me of bud light wheat more than a craft wheat.

Light sweetness, and a little bit of bitterness. Little taste and aroma to detect at all, I had expected more. Colour is somewhat yellow, it pours a small white head. (355 ml bottle)
