Hazy pale yellow color, good creamy white head. Sweet lemon candy aroma. Light body, crisp carbonation. Fruity, citrus-sweety flavor, light acidity. Hints of watermelon. Some kind of artifical notes here too, from spices? Quite simple wheat ale, which works probably best with food.

5 Flowery perfumy almost soapy aroma.
2 Pale gold, brief fizzy head.
5 Watery and minerally. Touch mashy and raw.
3 Watery palate, fizzy carbonation, some carbonic acidity too. Finish does at least have some graininess, and reasonably bold fruity hops.
10 Pluses and minuses, but pretty dull all in all.
Bottle, 12oz. An unclear, yellow beer with a small, white head. Citrus and wheat in the weak aroma. The flavor is citrusy and wheaty, lacking on bitterness and punch. Flat, medium body, short and uninteresting finish. A beer that drinks easily but also bores the hell out of me. Rating: 5-3-5-2-10-2.5. 20110330Benzai (16928) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2012
Bottle, 12oz. An unclear, yellow beer with a small, dense, white head. Mostly citrusy on the nose, with a touch of spices in the back. Wheat too. The flavor is on the citrusy side, on a backdrop of pale malts. Slightly spiced and acidic, rather thin on the palate and with too low levels of carbonation. Citrusy finish, blending oranges and lemon in a smooth, lemonade like way. Well, it’s quite quenching, but it’s certainly nothing impressive going on. Well, I think I’ll have a few more during the spring and summer, it’s certainly better than the lagers we’re used to in Norway, and the price isn’t too high either. 110413
33cl bottle @ Monks Cafe Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy yellow color, small to med sized white head. Smell malts, herbs, flowers and spices. Taste malts, some wheat, herbs, slightly flowers. Low body, low carbo.

A: The beer pours a slightly hazed bright yellow color with a short lived white head.
S: Fairly light on the nose but some definite citrus notes of lemon peel and orange. A decent enough floral hop character is present as well. Sweet bread and wheat in terms of the malt content.
T: Much more yeasty than I had expected. Wheat bread is there, but the flavor is quite light as well. Lemon zest and a mild to moderate tartness. Not as much hop flavor as I had anticipated, given the nose.
M: Light in body with a moderate level of carbonation.
O: As far as the Pale Wheat style of beer goes, this isn’t bad, but it’s still not something I’d care to drink again. Dedollewaitor (16545) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 21, 2010
Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan Tasting, April 2010. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is citrus, herbs and wheat. Lively carbonation. Fresh and dry flavor with notes of orange, wheat and citrus. Medium bodied. Ends very dry. Scopey (16277) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2014
Bottle. It pours hazy gold with a decent white head. The nose is wheat, dough, apricot, peach and some grain. The taste is crisp, creamy, wheat, lemon, grain, dough and grass with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Simple, easy drinkable. Ok. MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 17, 2010
Bottle, 4.2%. Fruity and teaish aroma. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is also friuty and teaish, but has a quite watery finish. Flavourful - then watery. Might be refreshing in summer. bhensonb (15976) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 4, 2008
Bottle. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Slightly hazy golden color with a decent white head. Medium bodied with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is wheat with citrus. Flavor fades rapidly, and the finish is a little grain and a touch of citrus that persists.
