COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, its a beer thats densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We dont filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. Thats how you know its unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. Its not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that youd expect.

Two 355ml bottles, 4.4% abv, bought at an ICA store in Troms and shared with friends. Filmy layer, spotty lacing, unclear golden body. Fresh fruity wheat to the nose. Fresh citrus fruits in flavour along with wheat and lighter notes of spices. Soft bittersweet ending. Refreshing (Sommary, 25.06.2011).

Pinball (12031) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 4, 2011
Bottle from Voldby Kbmandsgaard very clear yellow, smooth large white head with a yellow tone. fresh flowery hoppy aroma, slightly dusty, notes of peaches quite delicate and pretty pleasing flowery aroma. flavor is flowery, very slightly hoppy bitter, slightrly fruity and wheaty. Very mild and probably also a bit boring wheat beer - i prefer the german and belgian versions of wheat beer to this. However it is quite refreshing and very easy to drink, almost like a lemon soda water, or a radler. second pour was not entirely clear, but still its one of the most clear berws i ever saw , that claims to be unfiltered.

"I have a bit of a soft spot for hoppy wheats. This one is light, but does the trick. Light wheat, yeasty spice and citrus hops combined to make a light refreshing brew. 38 in Chicago, but Im in the airport pretending its warmer."

Bottle from Tesco. Heather honey blossom aromas with a faint zesty lemon. Cloudy translucent yellow with a good white head and a little lacing. Looks very much like a witbier. After a few minutes I get more nutty malt and in the aroma. Flavour is malt forward with a nice noble hop character. The maltt is a little flat and stale. Zesty finish. Palete is a little light with moderately high carbonation, which leaves a slightly chalky finish. Very refreshing.

Draft DLD08 Hazy, straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. Lots of citrus and pale grains in the aroma. Light to medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Sweet (too sweet) with reserved citrus. Finishes sweet and grainy.
