COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Draft… DLD’08… Hazy, straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. Lots of citrus and pale grains in the aroma. Light to medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Sweet (too sweet) with reserved citrus. Finishes sweet and grainy.

ManVsBeer (10640) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2014
Bottle from Tesco. Lighter yellow with a very small carbonation. Has a fruit fused wheat beer nose and a fair citric taste, although it does not linger.

Bottle @ home. Pours a touch hazy golden appearance with a smallish white head. Soft, light banana, lemon, a bit zesty, vanilla wafer aroma. Kind of dry grainy wheat, tangy, lemon, a touch bland flavor. Not hard to drink but nothing special.
