bought as part of a variety pack. poured slightly hazy gold, minimal head. aroma is light, sweet while taste was citrus and yeast. nothing special. User37895 (3042) - - SEP 11, 2007
Bottle at Mcguilicuddy’s. Pour was brilliantly clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation to display. Head and lacing not that impressive, as this style normally has more to offer. Aroma was herbal and fruity. Flavor was earthy, herbal, and fruity, yet no wheat bite and not nearly enough hops in the finish for an Am Wheat. Light body. Came across as a wheat-based blonde ale with little character, only decent drinkability. lb4lb (2611) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2007
Pours a sickly pale, cloudy yellow in a Weizen. Smell is obvious of wheat and big on a light citrusy lemon smell as well and is overall quite nice. Taste is wheaty, somewhat tart and lemony, and I can swear I taste the alcohol in this 4.2% beer though... Very thin, watery, and somehow tastes a bit boozy. I actually like wheats, but this wasn’t worth revisiting. WolfsBlood84 (172) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - OCT 22, 2007
I’ve had this beer many times on tap and bottled - Most recently from a 12 oz into a shaker. Pours a straw yellow with lots of haze and cloudiness. Nice head if you pour straight in. Looks OK. Aroma is very mild - slight wheat, slight citrus, a little earthy/grassy. Smells decent, but a bit light. Taste is very light (read: watery and slightly dissapointing), light citrus/lemon, slight wheat and thats about it. Overall, it’s very light and unforunately only 4.2%, but it is nice and refreshing on a hot summer day. You can do better, but it’s OK. pinkzambia (1933) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 1, 2007
Tap: Cloudy pale yellow color with a mild yeast & banana aroma. Flavors of sweet corn and soap. Definitely not my favorite brew.

Bottle sampled. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small off-white head. Aroma of wheat, light citrus, and some lemon. Flavor is thin and mild with wheat, grass, light hops, and some citrus notes alexsdad06 (10485) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - DEC 1, 2007
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium frothy head. The aroma is sweet light malt and some citrus. The flavor is yeasty with light citrus, and light sweet malts. A slight touch of bitterness. A touch on the watery side. 37steel (186) - St. Charles, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2007
Draft. Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Lemony citrus aromas. Wheat spiciness in the flavor with hints of lemons. A bit thinner than I expected. JLAudio (282) - Crestwood, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2007
There is a lot of hype about this beer, since I’m next to the 312 area code, but there isn’t too much to back it up for me. It is slightly too light, slightly too muddled, slightly complex and not much else. I guess it has a pleasant taste and is easy to drink, in the summer that is. davidoc (113) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 3, 2008
Light wheat beer. Fairly hazy, slightly hoppy. Medium head disappears quickly.
