Pours a hazy yellow unfiltered mess. Poured a decent head that dissipates. Smells citrusy, hoppy, and doughy. Tastes alot like its smell. Decent hop character for a wheat beer, but I kept getting a bready/doughy finish. Maybe it was something else that feels familiar but I can’t put my finger on. A beer I used to drink alot, but generally pass over for the Honker’s now. illini4ever (23) - Illinois, USA - MAR 1, 2008
Bottle poured a hazy gold color with a decent whitish head that doesn’t last long. Very mild aroma of citrus. Fruity ale flavor. Good sessional brew. mgoy (344) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 4, 2008
Goose Island 312 is a cloudy, light amber color with a lighter body than a standard wheat ale. Low bitterness, a smooth finish and a nice citrus aftertaste make this a refreshing beer. unclemike (3197) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - MAR 17, 2008
Nice, but not as strongly flavored as I like a wheat beer to be. Thin light head that didn’t last long, fairly carbonated, light aroma of wheat, citrus, and yeast. Tastes of wheat and bananas, with a bit of hops and citrus. Not bad at all, but I’d like more what and hops bitterness. jayhopkins23 (27) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2008
Bright pale golden hue, slightly hazy. Good nose, aroma of fresh cascade hops. Decent summer beer, more blonde ale than wheat ale.

One of my favorite Goose Island brews. Thick, golden body and a sweet, fruity aroma traditional of wheat beers. Great unfiltered blend that lingers. hopscotch (11451) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 19, 2008
Draft… DLD’08… Hazy, straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. Lots of citrus and pale grains in the aroma. Light to medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Sweet (too sweet) with reserved citrus. Finishes sweet and grainy. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 21, 2008
Draft. pours a non descript yellow. Wheaty floral & light hops in the nose. crisp & easy drinking wheat beer. Well balanced & decent summer beer IDunno19 (89) - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Was not terribly impressed. It’s a typical American beer that’s trying just slightly harder than Budweiser to have some kind of flavor. Not bad but certainly average. Rogueone (506) - I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA - JUN 5, 2008
Bottle: This beer is exactly what you would expect. Cloudy pour, aroma of corriander spice, flavor is crisp and light citrus, bready. Crisp, pale, bready malt finish. Best served VERY COLD.
