Nice beer, very drinkable. Was a little too clear for a wheat beer, would have preferred more cloudiness. Also, and maybe because of the clarity, the color was a bit off. A little more orange and less yellow would be preferable. Very drinkable, and much more enjoyable than domestic light beers, regardless of what anybody says in these posts. Seems this beer is an answer to Bell’s Oberon and/or Winter Wheat. From what I understand, Bell’s doesn’t allow (or restricts...and maybe this has all changed since I read the article) distribution into Chicago because the distributors there tend to corrupt the beer. Not a place for a plug for Bells I admit, but I respect the brewers at Bells for caring about the quality of their beer all the way to the consumer. This beer, different enough from the Bells offerings, gives the good people of Chicago a nice alternative.
Can at Bathsheba, Barbados, 17th August 17. Pours mostly clear. Aroma is grass, minimal. Taste is lagerish, refreshing, citrus. OK. Bijl (683) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 15, 2017
Goudgeel, iets troebel, witte schuimkraag en veel koolzuur.
Aroma: Iets gras, tarwemout, Citrus.
HourGlass13 (945) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head. Minimum retention and no lacing. Aroma is sweet, with some fruit. Notes of caramel and wheat, in taste, with some flowery hops. In overall, a sweet and mild taste. Light body and carbonation. A little plain but not bad. Good drinkability. samjdix (61) - - AUG 11, 2017
Not normally a fan of wheat beers after some bad experiences but thought I’d try a ’mainstream’ versions. Probably a good gentle introduction as I didn’t mind this. Nice fruity smell with plenty of depth, maybe some peardrops. Never liked the cloudy appearance of wheat beers so no comment there. Taste is crisp and lagerish with some peardrops again maybe, not bad. Palate not brilliant - too fluffy. Overall not bad though and may tempt me to try some more high quality wheat beers. Semi-clear gold pour with an off-white head and fair retention. No lacing. Flat mouthfeel. Light body. Generic wheat ale with slight citrus background. No cloves or Belgian yeast. Okay.

Aroma of wheat, fruit and spices. Light body and medium carbonation. Taste or wheat, lemongrass, orange-peel and coriander. Fruity, light bitter with a sweet finish. Nothing exciting - a little commercial for my taste. XenosOTK (1) - nuneaton, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2017 does not count
tThe beer came in a can, not much info on it. Taste and smellwise we could spot similarities to Tyskie. Once it was in glasses for a while, the taste seemed to be better. R4N5H (1218) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2017
33cl bottle from beer hawk.co.uk, poured into a snifter on 23-Jul-2017. Hazy yellowish pale colour with a medium sized white head which doesn’t last long. Aroma of wheat, fruit and spices. Light body and medium carbonation. Taste or wheat, lemongrass, orange-peel and coriander. Fruity, light bitter with a sweet finish. Nothing exciting - a little commercial for my taste. Aus der Flasche getrunken (Händlerlieferung). Was soll das denn sein. Nix mit APA. Um das zu ergründen, werde ich keine 2. Flasche von dem Zeug probieren
