Pours a fairly standard deep brown color. Small amount of tan head with very little lacing left behind. Aroma is slightly sweet and malty. Flavor has lots of very nice dark/bitter/baking chocolate flavors - really really tasty. Also picking up hints of caramel and just a little bit of malt. Very smooth beer and an incredibly drinkable and tasty stout. If you like stouts that lean more towards the chocolaty flavors, you will love this one.
Will definitely be drinking more of this.

Draft at Goose Island. It was nice to see this one as you don’t get a lot of new stouts in the summer. This one was exceptional. Pours an opaque black with a light tan head. Nose is toasty roasted malts and toffee. Hops are in the background. On taste, nice sweet cocoa note that is pulled back in by the bitter roasted notes. Clean finish. Very easy drinking and again shows the skill that GI has with stouts.
