Adequate beer, a little lite for me. Decent malts and hops, but a little weak in the knees. Braudog (6710) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAY 31, 2005
From the cask at the brewpub: Silky smooth medium-yellow brew with mellow flavors ... light malt, mandarin orange, fruity twist at the finish. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 7, 2010
Blonde Ale--1999 12 oz. Bottle. 4.70% ABV. (4.0 / 5.0) Clear bright golden color. Floral hoppy malty front is lightly spiced-enticingly flavorful. Rich crisp crystal malt body with hint of citrus. Refreshing clean finish. Malty and hoppy for a Blonde. Sampled 6/19/1999 SpecialBrew99 (57) - grand blanc, Michigan, USA - FEB 10, 2002
Liked this beer, not anything special, just a good blonde ale. If you like blondes, this one shouldn’t be over looked.

Moderate hops bittering and the brewery’s signature slightly floral hops. Bittering was a tad heavy at the back. A solid and respectable ale. Alenightlong99 (70) - Lockport, Illinois, USA - FEB 25, 2002
Good going Goose Island. Light flavor with the right amount of hops makes this a good beer to drink. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - NOV 16, 2002

A very nice summer beer, light and crisp greystreet80 (191) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 10, 2002
A very flavor full blonde ale. It has the distinct Goose Island flavor that is present in all Goose island brews. Very drinkable and when cold, very inviting.
