At Hopishop 2017. Aroma of bourbon vanilla, chili, green herbs and chocolate. Flavor of green chilli pepper, bourbon vanilla, caramel fudge, chocolate and some cherry. Very nice, as always. Nische (2523) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 10, 2017

Bottle shared in Keystone - cheers to the Duke! Pours oily blackbwith a creamy, small tan head. Lots of burnt peppers, chipotle, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with more smokey chipotle, some ashy roast, baking cocoa, a little child heat. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with more spicy chilli, chipotle, smoke, rocky road, ash. Fun stuff. Pretty punchy. jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 21, 2017

Chunky, opaque, dark mahogany/ebony body with a fleeting ring of bubbles and no head.
Big pepper in the nose shows the chipotles are alive and well. Classic vanilla-fudge behind it sets the base for a pretty big American imperial. Moderate alcohol, but it’s honestly not bad for 13% and does help cut in to this massive maltiness, somewhat. Light baker’s chocolate and/or cacao lingers as an afterthought, with peppers and fudge being the dominant force here.
Tar, pepper, graham cracker and light smoke with a fruity, cherry-like flavor. The spice is strong with this one; big chipotle notes still remain and distract from the thick, syrupy, rich body. Low but ample carbonation and light bread/peanut/cacao notes mixing with vanilla and lingering capsaicin, on the finish. They definitely did not F around with the peppers here and obviously wanted to really highlight those. Even after eight months it’s still too overbearing, even despite it helping take the focus off of the strong sugariness here.
Bottle shared by Ryan - thanks! Dark brown pour with a minor head. Loads of chipotle pepper heat. Rich dark malts, wood, booze, maple sweetness. wilnatp (718) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 12, 2017
Bottle from RyanFolty. Aroma of chocolate, maple, pepper. Taste is sweet with spicy finish. Nice maple notes come through in flavor. Slight prickle on the tongue but finish leaves a bright but pleasant aftertaste Ktwse (5464) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2017
Pours black with flat tan head. Aroma of bourbon, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit, muscovado. Taste is rich and sweet with a fiery boozy finish. Rich and creamy body with soft carbonation. BlazerT (1253) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - AUG 1, 2017
Sensoric. Pitch black with tiny, light brown head. Poor head retention and very poor lacing. Heavy light roasted malts aroma - mainly milk chocolate, roasted, woody, than quite noticeable smokiness from chipotle. Also some licorice, some light vanilla and light moderate bourbon notes, as well maple syrup. Taste is very sweet thru the whole of degustation with moderate chipotle peppers notes. Medium to full body, oily and sticky texture, finish is hot (chipotle), sweet, slightly roasty. In overall from the ingredients mentioned the chipotle profile is mostly noticeable, than cocoa , but bourbon and maple syrup are in really far end. This one is really drinkable and killing. What to say.... not really knocking down, impressive, neither the top I’ve drunken so far... dpvrai (13) - New York, USA - JUL 29, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 Draft, fresh keg. Very dark though hard to see in the moonlight. Some chipotle pepper on the tongue and almost too sweet from Maple.
