COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebration was originally brewed for our Pub brewers daughter, Gabrielle, in honor of her first birthday in 2002. It is also brewed for American beer month, (July). The luscious red hue is obtained by using pure crystal malt. Plentiful Cascade and Centennial hops are then used to balance the rich malt sweetness.

Tap-Goose Island Clybourn-RBSG-6/29/03. I sat right next to bigbadbear63 when we sampled this. We had similar agreements on this beer, but my ratings will not be as good as his. Dark, Ruby red appearance with good lacing. Aroma was full of citrus/lemon. palate was very one dimensional and thin-all hops, no malt. Would be excellent if the body was a bit thicker.

Reddish hue with an average head and good lacing, thin to medium-bodied. Nice tart (grapefruit) and mild malt aroma, much like a newborn port. Woody and citrusy taste, lingering malt aftertaste. Thin and lively mouthfeel. A nice brew not to be confused with the standard Goose red.
