COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long days and warm nights awaken the city. The list of neighborhood festivals is endless. As is the great music that brings us together in parks and parking lots. We brewed our Session IPA to be easy drinking and endlessly refreshing, so you can enjoy every encore. Bright note of fresh oranges and other citrus fruit with a mild body that is crisp on the palate.

Admin Note: Although this is similar to Forcone, Goose Island assures me this beer is a different recipe for large scale release in 2014 evolved from that original batch for Pitchfork Music Festival 2013.

Bottle on the Metro North train from Grand Central to Wassaic. Pours perfectly clear copper-gold with a frothy white head. Pleasant aroma with mild pine and ripening orange. Light to medium sweet flavor with some bittering pine, light bready pale malts, ripe citrus fruits. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes lightly resinous with nice toasty pale, bready malts, tangerine and orange. A solid sessioner, yep.

Hazy golden color with small fruity head. Mild aroma of cereals, but also with a pleasant mellow fruity touch. The mouthfeel is very dry, appropriate for the style, the malt has some timid cereal character, it has a reasonable bitterness level, a mild herbaceous touch from the hops, and not much more hop quality. A bit weak in the final.
The aroma is more satisfying than the flavor.
Pleasant drink for a BBQ afternoon.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out a very soapy, floral hops, some detergent, and biscuity malt. Flavour is very dull, with soapy floral hops and dry biscuity malt. Very dull, soapy and uninspired. Meh.

Light gold. Has a slightly citrusy hop nose. Light pale malts and there’s a floral citrusy element. Ok IPA

Bottle from Total Wine in Huntington Beach, CA. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Light zesty aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is a burst of citrus with nice caramel, and then it nosedives into something not really nice. Finishes bready and bitter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks zvikar. Clear deep golden. Aroma of fruity hops, slightly stale, and some malt, slightly grainy. Flavor has light malt sweetness, slightly grainy, some slightly stale fruity hops and a bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied. Easy-drinking.
