Draft on tap at the Oak Park Microbrew Review (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich deep amber orange hue, healthy haze, with frothy whitish head. Dies to a mellow layer, laces ok. Aromas a nice pungent nectarine, some bitter florals and citrus, bready malts, touch of biscuit. Nectarine fruity element really gives some life. Tasty. Initial is nectarine, richer fruit, some grapefruit, lemon, tropical fruit. Firm hoppiness, touches of sticky caramel and biscuits in the middle. Gentle toast, firm bready malts. A touch of florals. Middle is richer nectarine, orange and peach, touch tropical mango. Backend is a lot of play between the nectarine and citrus, grapefruit and florals. Lemons, touches of bready malts, a kick of biscuit. Really big fruit presence, medium dry bitter hops linger. Really nice Farmers Market treatment. Great big fruit flavors. Great play between the nectarines and fresh Citra element from 100 Degrees (the base beer, I think)
