Received in a 12 oz. tulip. 5.5% ABV.
3.5 A: Very lightly hazed dark yellow color. Came with a small white head.
4.5 S: Big tangerine and peach fruitiness. Grapefruit underneath. Moderate amounts of neutral malt sweetness. Peppery spiciness along with some other harder to identify spice species.
4.5 T: Tastes like the nose. Peach, tangerine, and light grapefruit. Super clean neutral maltiness with lots of spiciness with pepper leading the charge.
4.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation with a light spritziness.
4.5 D: Really tasty without any major flaws. Probably one of my favorite GI brews that aren’t Bourbon County or King Henry.
Serving type: on-tap

Draft at Clybourn location. I really enjoyed this. The biggest thing that popped out to me was big mandarin orange notes in the aroma and flavor. It kept it light and refreshing, but did not overwhelm the base Belgian ale; if that makes sense. Very refreshing after a long, mostly in the correct direction, hot walk with two kids. Really nice white pepper and spice aromas in the nose. Flavor has a slight grainy base with crisp carbonation. Quite good. deyholla (12253) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Sampled from the tap at the Clyborn location. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is very perfumey with flora, light fruit and spices with a backing sweet grain note. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 11, 2012
Draft at Clybourn. Pours a bright gold with a persistent white head. Nose is white pepper and banana, light. It runs and lean enough. Perhaps a bit muddles over all. As it warms, the complexity comes across. Soft pils malt on the palate with moderate bitterness. Light bodied. Decent with a fruitiness but lacking in terms of good yeast character. A bit generic. Hops in the finish.

Draft, pours clear gold with white head. Aroma urinal cake, lemons, orange. Flavors of lemons, yeasty, orange finish, good clean fun, odd note in the nose but it’s good. burgy (460) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Aromatics show that this is definitely a Belgian nice yeast light on the fruit tones. Taste shines through with bready, malty goodness. Overall, a solid Belgian! holdenn (2127) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Sampled at clybourn. Golden color with a thin head. Nose that has Belgian yeast and hops with a cat pissy tinge. Flavors of pale malts and bitter pine. A little faded with the green hops sticking around too long. Nothing special but still pretty good. 7/3/7/3/13

Flight on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). A new Belgian.. equipped with female name. Pours a richer golden huem touch of haze dies out as it settles, remaining fairly fiery golden hued, striking transparent glow with a frothy whitish head that sticks around as a small layer and laces ok overall. Aromas are gentle yeasty spice, touches of fruity pear and apple, bready malts, some straw, gentle earthy dry hops, dough, and florals. Mellow, some banana estery elements, gentle yeasty elements come in a bit more as it warms. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied offering bready malts, dough, and crisp cereal grains mixing into some fruity estery elements. Apple, banana, and dough, some straw and dry earthy hopping lend some bitterness into the backend, vindicating a bit more for me. A solid beer if a bit forgetable.
