Pour on tap, dark brownish pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, nice cocoa powder in there into hints of grass, grain, hints of spice, slight vanilla in there with a touch of roast. Taste is a mix of dark chocolate, roast, hints of vanilla, slight earth, caramel, slight touch of spice, finishing fairly bitter, slightly sweet. GABF 2012. Pours with a clear deep brown hued body with a lasting tan head. Aromas are fruity and leathery with brown sugar, toffee, vanilla and chocolate. 16 Nov 2012, tap at goose island Wrigleyville. Nut brown, clear. Nose is fresh cracked nuts for sure. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Burnt toast and roasted nuts. Really decent.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Amber-brown color with a medium light beige head and stringy lace. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Sampled with Andrew, Sofia and Moreau at GABF 2012. Pours a deep brownish amber body with light lacing. Aroma is bready, malty, light milk chocolate, cocoa and some coffee. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of muted coffee, milk chocolate, light dry hop, light smoke, tobacco, toasted malts, and cocoa.
