draft, pours hazy gold with white head. a big belgian yeast aroma has lemon citrus notes as well. flavors are strong sweet honey malts and pungent belgian yeast notes with banana, pear, doughy malts. Yeast
is a bit tart and takes over this beer. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 6, 2011
On tap at Goose – Clybourn. Poured clear honeyed golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up soft, sweet honey and lighter fruits upfront with tangy lemon scattered throughout.. enjoyable peppery yeast accents.. well-presented. The flavor found warm vinous and darker fruits at the core, with a little honey providing heft.. peppery and clovey yeast character rose with warmth.. warm, sweet sugars on the finish with a lot more banana.. tasty! Light-medium bodied on the palate.. a hair too sweet and grainy for my liking, but it was still really good.. refreshing and enjoyable.
