Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

A solid IPA that I regularly drink on draft, however, the draft is definitely better than the bottle.

Pretty generic big brewery IPA, hoppiness- check, malt - check, hint of orangey citrus - check. A bit too much carbonation, felt a bit lagery, it's ok, no more.

355 ml. bottle @ Home. Aroma: not very intense aromas of citrus, tangerine, fruits, maybe orange. Hints of toasted malts, caramel. Appearance: golden color, crystal clear, slightly off-white foam. Quite creamy head with medium to high thickness. Medium to high retention. Medium to high Brussels' lacing. Taste: low sweetness, medium bitterness, low sourness. Flavors of citrus, tangerine, fruits and hints of toasted malts, caramel, bread crust, orange, grapefruit. Balance is toward the bitter side. Palate: low to medium body, oily-silky texture, high carbonation, very long dry finish with medium bitterness and the aforementioned flavors. Alcohol is not noticeable. No astringency. Overall: very good appearance, but the aromas are not very intense. Flavors are intense but not the most pleasant ones i've found in an IPA. Maybe too little aroma and too malty flavors for an IPA. Quite bitter but too weak hops' aromas and flavors.

355ml can. Aroma is strangely sweet, like orangeade. Grassy hops. Appearance is this and golden, thin on the palate too with quite a bitt of carbonation. Taste is dry and malty, very bitter with earthy hops in the finish. Not a great beer.

0,473ml bottle. Pours clear golden with medium sized head. Some citrus and pine going on . Bitter finish. Not too complex.

Tonight’s #ammanvalleybeertasters chosen by valued member @d1swc has a strong hop finish, an ale that’s not a million miles away from a Guinness. Nice enough- a decent 6.9/10 from me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
