(draft) Clear light copper body with medium head. Very strong pine aroma. Pine/grapefruit flavor, but not overwhelming. Nice carbonation keeps it nice on the tongue. Fairly dry finish. It's good, but one can only consume pine for so long -- definitely not a session beer. raindog (560) - Evansville, Indiana, USA - AUG 1, 2002
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2003 Rerate:Too generous first time. Bottle conditioned but you cant't tell except for the bubbles on the head. Pours highly carbonated but minimal, milky, lacey head. The head is quality but small. Aroma straight fruity, piney.Taste is very BITTER. There might be malts their but I can't tell.EXREMELY drinkable.Full flavored till the end but not a knockout. This beer is barely balanced. This will satisfy any hop craving. nstal (237) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2002
Not your typical IPA but definitely exploding with hops. Very good beer.... jsquire (4753) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JUL 19, 2002
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2004 I had the Draft IPA at the pub and it is better than the bottle. There is a huge hop nose and a great cascading head. The color is deep yellow. The flavor is very spicey with strong citrus notes. Very clean finish. NDmullet (208) - South Bend, Indiana, USA - JUL 18, 2002
Crisp aroma, bright and floral. Tangy, sweet, and great balance. Lovely hoppy remnants linger in my mouth long after I've finished, which is ideal. Texture is maybe a touch thin, but this just adds to its drinkability; not really a session beer, but I could put away a sixer of this without thinking. Readily available around here, so a perfect beer for quenching my thirst for hop.

It poured a copper golden color and left a nice white head that left some nice lace. A little bit of carbonation. It had an aroma of hops and some hops and some citrus. The taste was of hops, citrus and malt. The finish was a touch dry and bitter with elements of the forementioned, which was good. I found this to be a great IPA for the money(at least in my state). While not the best by far, a good IPA for those that aren't trying to break the bank.

Damn fine American IPA. Loaded with hops, this one will not leave you disappointed. Piney aroma and a grapefruit after taste. Wonderful out of the bottle. papajohn (1250) - San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA - JUL 1, 2002
Had it in Cincy. Nice hop bitter. A good IPA. Not great, but I would buy it again. k2 (146) - USA - JUN 6, 2002
a tad harsh for an ipa. has a very raw taste to it.........................
