Keg Pint at Goose Island Ale House, Balham, London in Jan 2017 - Orangey Gold in colour. Good off-white head. Good lacing. Good carbonation. Malty; grainy toasty malts, caramel. Fruity; orange citrus. Hoppy; grassy hops. Mildly bitter malty fruity throughout. Increasing bitterness into finish. OK. Painless; easy drinking. (2017-01)

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear, light amber/orange with minimal sparkle, less-than-finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is lightly fruity hops, over solid caramel, biscuit malt base. Taste is biscuity, lightly toasted malts. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and lively carbonation with finish as taste. Overall, meh.

On tap at Goose Island Vintage Ale House, Balham on 8th February 2017. Amber with off-white lacing foam. Crisply hoppy with tangy fruitiness in aroma and liquid pass, leaving a fruity finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body, affording easy drinking.
