COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Green Line Pale Ale is a honey-colored, immensely sessionable American pale ale with a pronounced, bright, American hop aroma and citrus flavor. Notes of biscuit and lightly toasted malt create the backbone for Green Line’s pleasant, crisp bitterness.

On tap at Goose Island Vintage Ale House, Balham on 8th February 2017. Amber with off-white lacing foam. Crisply hoppy with tangy fruitiness in aroma and liquid pass, leaving a fruity finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body, affording easy drinking.

Purchased a 4-pack of 16floz cans in the St. Louis area for $5. Imprinted on the bottom is "15DEC16," I think this is bottling date an "BF1130" that I think refers to being brewed in Baldwinsville, NY. The quick and short of this review, is that this beer is pretty decent and is a value buy best suited for BBQs and such. Yet, considering its style class as either an American or English pale ale it is lacking in complexity. Nothing wrong with the appearance. The wet rag nose indicates a mundane experience is in store. I know this doesn’t sound right at all, but this seems like a ’session’ oriented APA. Thin body with bland metallic butter and citrus zest flavors. I’ve had this before and will likely have it again, since it works for certain situations. Comparatively it is sub-par.

Very translucent. Pretty light. Tastes like dry biscuits and lime. A bit too much lime for me.
