COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Green Line Pale Ale is a honey-colored, immensely sessionable American pale ale with a pronounced, bright, American hop aroma and citrus flavor. Notes of biscuit and lightly toasted malt create the backbone for Green Line’s pleasant, crisp bitterness.

I thought this beer was pretty stale and one that I wouldn't want to drink unless I really had to. Goose island has better beers than this so I wouldn't choose this to drink ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap in some dive in Chicago. Light golden colour. Basically a golden ale, lighter malt bill than most American pales, hint of grain and slightly sweet, then some slightly light fruity citric notes. Low to medium bitterness in finish. Easy drinking although a bit too strong in alcohol (if not flavour) to be truly smashable. It’s ok.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear, light amber/orange with minimal sparkle, less-than-finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is lightly fruity hops, over solid caramel, biscuit malt base. Taste is biscuity, lightly toasted malts. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and lively carbonation with finish as taste. Overall, meh.
