COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Green Line Pale Ale is a honey-colored, immensely sessionable American pale ale with a pronounced, bright, American hop aroma and citrus flavor. Notes of biscuit and lightly toasted malt create the backbone for Green Line’s pleasant, crisp bitterness.

The best I can go on this is not too bad... It's like entry level pale ale here..nothing is bright about it as is described. Dull hop front with slight hop aroma and taste...the maltiness comes through more than all else ... It's fine just doesn't hold up when you have sooo many other rock star pales and iPas in Chicago ( half acres daisy cutter...Piece the weight...etc etc etc....) I'll pass next time unless I'm in a pinch... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours quite clear deep gold with frothy white head. Moderate head retention, little lacing. Malty, herbal nose. Medium body, average carbonation, slick texture. Taste is malty, little hoppy. Ok beer, balanced, but nothing amazing.

Clear fizzy golden pour with a thin white head and light lacing .... aroma of biscuity malts, citrusy grapefruit and light pine .... taste is the same grapefruit, light pine and grassy hops with biscuity and caramel malts ..... has a bitter bite on the backend .... finish is malty with lingering bitter dry hop bite and grapefruit .... sessionable and forgettable

On tap at Toronto brewpub. Pretty typical American pale ale, on the lighter side. Slight sticky, caramel sugar. Mild hops and malts. Bit thin in the finish, but made it fairly refreshing too for a summer day. eh, it’s ok.

I thought this beer was pretty stale and one that I wouldn't want to drink unless I really had to. Goose island has better beers than this so I wouldn't choose this to drink ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap in some dive in Chicago. Light golden colour. Basically a golden ale, lighter malt bill than most American pales, hint of grain and slightly sweet, then some slightly light fruity citric notes. Low to medium bitterness in finish. Easy drinking although a bit too strong in alcohol (if not flavour) to be truly smashable. It’s ok.
