Nose light peaches, pretty tart smelling but not super sour in the palate. Kinda has a wine spritzer character to it. Tasty but largely forgettable.

From the 750 ml. bottle. 2016 batch. A slightly cloudy pale yellow-olive colored pour with a fizzy white head that builds up and fades within seconds. Sediment. The aroma emits esters of green grape, Brett, toasted white bread, yeast, spice, and maybe a grapefruit zest. Medium body but also very soft yet carbonated. The taste is as a wild ale should be with a good tart and sour flavor, some bready notes, and a clean herbal finish that lingers briefly. This was decently done but I cannot justify spending $22 again on it when I can find others with the same characteristics for half the price.

Draft. Pours hazy gold. Aroma lightly of peach, lemon, and some funk. Flavor matches, over a crackery malt base. Nice stuff.

750 ml bottle shared with the wife. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a large fluffy off white head. The aroma and flavor have lightly tart citrus and stone fruit, Brett funk, wood, the wine barrel character is soft, this is a 2013 bottle so the Brett is more of a presence, I have had this a few times before and newer versions show a bit more tart fruit, still very good.

2016 release. Pours lightly hazy straw color with a small, thin head that was gone quickly. Sour aroma from the Brett, with a note of white wine. A light note of peach as it warms. Body is a touch lighter than medium, and lightly oily. Dry finish with some astringency. Wine-like flavor that gives way to a sour Brett note at the back. Some sweetness from the peaches up front as it warms some.

Bottle from Red Star. Citrus, peach, Pinot, Brett and grass aroma. Very tart beginning filled with sour mash notes that makes my lips pucker. Finish is brett and yeast with more fruit. Not a whole lot boozy but you know it?s there. Some malt too.
