Turbid dull tan; banana, citric lemon bite, limited phenols, vague allspice, old biscuits…a straight-up weizen. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Draft. Hazed golden pour. Good banana and clove, suffers from a slight lack of body but its good.Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2012

Super phenolic and clovey n the aroma, the flavor is similiar with a bit mroe breadcrust and lemon.
tap at Wrigleyville. Easy drinking. Orange and wheat aroma. Middling mouthfeel, which is a little light for this style. Carbonation is right there. A bit sweet. Altogether a summer beer. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

On tap at Clybourn on 6/20/07: Pours a very cloudy golden bronze with a thin ring of white bubbles. Aroma of sweet wheat and banana with some clove spice balance. Body starts fairly full with a touch of bready wheaty sweetness and nice authenticity and clove spice. A decent hefeweizen.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2006 On tap at G.I. Clybourn. Poured a cloudy deep amber with just wisps of white head. Freshly-cut bananas, candy corn, tart lemongrass, and an underlying sweet maltage graced the nose. Caramel and dark-fruity sweet malts, banana extract, and candied apricot were found in the flavor with well-placed lemon tartness. Lightly-grainy on the palate with well-placed bitterness. Good hefe.. not a great hefe. Radek Kliber (7501) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUL 6, 2003
Some banana, apple, citrus. Smallish white head, cloudy, orangey. Very light, some peanuts and oat. It would be better if it wasn’t so light... TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Flight on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a glowing golden hue, touches of orange, with a loose white decent sized head that dies to a small film, laces small. A sturdy wheat haze. Aromas are the typical fresher banana esters and clove, wheat bread, touches of vanilla, and flaked wheat and bready cereal malts. Sweeter, but gentle. Initial is a lighter end of medium bodied Hefe, preaching banana esters, some pear, with bubblegum, touches of cloves. Moving into wheat bread, flaked wheat, cereal grains. The fruity esters clear up a bit more on the back of the palate, with some smooth vanilla and banana, Nilla Wafers, with some bubblegum. Pretty nice, fresh and lively, I’d like the fruit esters to pop a bit more but this is quite drinkable, with a nice mellow growing sweetness that doesn’t interfere. Quality brewpub Hefe, not quite my top of the barrel, but very nice. A decent, fairly fresh brewpub Hefe with a decent body.
