4.3%ABV. ESB. Poured out deep amber, light brown. 16ºSRM. Nose has some clean beery aromas. Inviting. Mouthfeel is watery and beery with good carbonation. Palate has some pleasant malted candy, toffee and fresh cream flavors. Nice roasted nutty flavor. Nicely balanced with some solid bitter hops. Clean finish. Goes on Favorites List!

Pours clean amber with small white head. Aroma of malt. Taste of light bitter. Bitter finish. Decent but nothing special.

cmacklin (1277) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 28, 2016
341ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper with lots of sediment floating around and a medium, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, wheat, bread, peach and orange. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, biscuit, wheat, orange, peach and grass with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Ok.

commonmac (1314) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Tap pour at Cityworks. Kind of a tulip glass which seems odd given this beer is as run of the mill as it gets. Copper in color with hard to find white head. Aroma is malty and slightly caramel but nothing amazing. Slight roasted malt. Taste is bready and malty with an assertive bitterness. Definite nuttiness. Kind of like what you taste when you wrap up a cup of tea. Some mild grassy notes with a little floral quality. This is more interesting than something like a traditional domestic but that’s about all it can top.

Cajun (539) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - OCT 26, 2016
Bottle - Pours a medium amber, white head, fades quick, but leaves lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, figs, other dark fruit. Tastes of sweet malts, fermented breads, caramel, toffee, dry hops. Feels like an amber lager. Decent Bitter.

ralphdot (1092) - Billingham, Durham, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2016
4.3% light amber colour with a good head, slight toffee aroma, fruity caramel malt taste, very nice. A new label and name for an old beer and the new label is really poor compered to the old one.

Style et résumé: Bitter.
Comment: Canette de 473ml.
Description: Une belle robe cuivrée.
Note: 7/10

weark (859) - Morges, SWITZERLAND - OCT 15, 2016

On tasting at High Point. Golden color, malty and somewhat hoppy. Quite drinkable stuff, but nothing more.
