Clear amber, nice long lasting head, strong notes of hops, grapefruit, spices, flower, some caramalt. Mainly bitter and bitter finish. PhillyHomeBrew (176) - Forest Hills, New York, USA - JUL 7, 2008
Body is dark yellowish brown with very little head. The aroma is sweet like a mixture of honey, flowers, lemon and orange. The flavor is fairly sweet as well, but kind of watery tasting without a whole lot of carbonation (might just be the tap) . There is a malty flavor with a bit of orange and lemon. Not much hops. courtesy of Toni Flükiger - slightly hazy amber-orange colour, solid and firm pale beige head; aroma of cream and herbs; low carbonation, very smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness; creamy flowery finish - gentle and inoffensive johntreeter (126) - Greenwood, Indiana, USA - JUL 1, 2008
12oz. bottle at Table Rock. Pours a copper color with slight haze and a thin mostly diminishing white head that left light lacing. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt and spicy hops. Light body, not too watery texture, lively carbonation, and excellent light bitter and dry mouthfeel. A slightly above average beer, but for 6.99 a sixer in Branson, MO. this was gold. Touch of biscuit and yeast in the aroma. Pours a caramel colored amber, with a thin, quickly fading head. Touch of sweetness balanced out by clean, crisp hops. A fantastic session brew, and a good introduction beer.

On Draft at Pizzeria UNO in Chicago. Pours amber with white head - good lacing. Nose is caramel with mild hops. Taste is caramel with a touch hop bitterness and mild floral hops. hogan873 (451) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - JUN 26, 2008
Nothing spectacular, but quite good. Pours a dark gold with a thick off white head. Sweet malty caramel and a bit of grass evident in the light aroma. Medium-bodied and very smooth. The malty sweetness is present up front with notes of caramel. Finsishes clean but with just a touch of hoppy bitterness. An easy drinking, tasty brew. It’s aight. Along with Sam Adams Boston Lager as just an incredibly drinkable brew. Nothing too complex or exciting, but tasty and yummy. Yummy factor is a plus. GuilTTy (2264) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - JUN 20, 2008
Had this while between flights at Chicago Midway. Pours a coppery amber supporting a small but surprisingly dense light tan head. Initial aroma of fresh cut grass with hints of citrus zest, toast and maybe a little toffee. Flavor is pretty straightforward and conservatively hopped with caramel, a touch of milk chocolate and some vanilla bouncing around every now and then. Fairly thin texture but not watery and moderately dry, slightly bitter finish. Not a bad brew for killing some time in an airport but with establishments like the Map Room in town, I’m surprised at the generally weak selection of beers at this airport.
