UPDATED: FEB 25, 2008 good coper color. nice head that dissipates slowly. Flavors of bread, malt with a decent hit of hops. Not as hoppy as i like, but a good hop flavor. great easy to drink hoppy ale.

Bottle. Copper color with good white head and nice lacing on glass. Very nice aroma of malt, hops and biscuit. Flavor of biscuit, malt and a good bit of hop bitterness. Good mouthfeel. I thought this was an excellent beer. Loved the hoppiness.

Decent ale with medium to low hoppiness. Poured medium dark golden with white head. Light citrus in aroma. Overal decent, ok, beer. Probably won’t buy again.

Good for what it is, Honker’s Ale is a pleasing choice for when I’m really not sure what to drink: Head back to what got me in to craft beer and have something nice and simple with just a little character. A light spicy hop mixes with some bread and funk to create a subtle aroma. The taste was a nice, smooth malt tone with notes of light fruit, biscuit, yeast and soft carbonation. Good session beer.

Aroma was faint and kind of had the dull citrus if english hops, and a bit of malt on the end the had a sour character. the beer poured a dark gold heading towards amber, with a head the stayed on top and laced nicely. Flavor was a dry maltiness with dull earthy citrus hops, with a slight english yeast character. medium light palate very easy to drink. Overall and alright beer, but it lacked real character, nothing jumped out about it and told me that I needed to have another one, it was just rather dull.

nothing really special to say about this. Drinkable but doesn’t stand out as anything fantastic

Poured a dark orange color with decent white head that stayed a while and left good lacing. Has a nice spicy hop aroma to it. Flavor is a nice blend of hop spicyness and maltiness. Mouthfeel is a velvety pleasantness. I really enjoyed this beer and would have again. Drinkability is high.

Washed copper color with thick cream colored head. Aroma is slightly acidic with a bit of spice. Very nice smell. Taste is very clean. Distinct presence of hops but not overpowering. Hops stick around for the finish. Not at all a bad beer.

Typical ale with nothing special. Aroma is borderline lager. Flavor is good with a little bittering in the finish.

Quite malty aroma. This is pretty nice. Malty with a solid aftertaste, mostly of a light hop and grassiness. Decent.
