Consumed a few BFB’s of this at Gin Ricks. A nice, mildly hoppy pale ale, very drinkable. Smooth, lightly bitter, good stuff. Acknud (1082) - Morganfield, Kentucky, USA - NOV 11, 2007
Golden amber pour. Small white head. Aroma and taste of toasted caramel malts. Medium citrus hops finish. holdenn (2127) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 6, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2008 12 oz bottle pours an amber with a tall white head. Toasted malts, caramel, and toffee in the nose. Similar flavors with a touch of nuts, grapefruit citrus, and pine. Sessionable. A nice example of an English Pale Ale as Goose Island has done with many of their early balanced English styles. dankman (257) - Somewhere in, Ohio, USA - NOV 5, 2007
Simple, easy to drink weak ale. Not a huge amount of flavor besides hints of carmel and a hint of bitter in the finish. jbuzz (838) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 5, 2007
This went down VERY fast!! It s aroma was fantastic and tasted much better than I had thought it would. Smooth and crisp. A lingering after taste was quit pleasant.

Bottle sampled. Pours a dark copper color with a beigh head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, and english hops. Flavor is lightly sweet and very smooth with caramel malts and some citrus with a light bitter hop finish. beerbrat99 (132) - Shanghai, CHINA - OCT 29, 2007
Nice copper color with excellent clarity. Notes of caramel malt. The hops in this seem really low. The only thing English about this beer is that it tastes old and oxidized even though the best before date is neary 5 months away. jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 28, 2007
Everything about this is subtle but nice. Aroma shows the characteristic malt, but is so subdued you have to stick your nose in it. Lightly hopped and crisp, this goes down nicely as a session should. Jonte (1496) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2007
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2007 Bottle at Delirium Café, Gothenburg. Amber red color with white head. Sweet aroma of toffee, caramel, butter, spices and light citrus. The taste is sweet with notes of toffee, fudge, caramel, butter, fruits, and light roasted malt. Light bitterness. Smooth and highly drinkable. jvmiller (558) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - OCT 22, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2007 Not bad, good session beer. Easy to drink, a little bit bitter on the finish. Crisp, hints of malt/caramel. Not too much hops. Standard.
