COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Big thanks to footballguy TD32 for this midwest brew. Pours a clear amber color that forms into a medium sized head that faded preetty quick. Smell is the smell of a bitter, pretty good. NOt a bad taste, but pretty light IMO for an English Bitter. A solid drinker though, just nothing special.

33 cl bottle, Minneapolis. Hazy pale amber colour, malty aroma. Some malt and hops flavour, but lighter than I expected. Still decent but thought it’d be a bit more full flavoured.

Rynoplasty (700) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - FEB 8, 2007
Pours a hazy reddish brown with a big white head. Aroma is malty, with some spicy hop flavor coming through. Taste is malty, but very accented by the hops. Overall a good easy drinker, but not the best from Goose Island.

drank this with spicy gumbo and it was the perfect easy to drink ale to wash it down with. I’d drink it again

Drank this at some bar in chicago late into a night of drinking. I remember this to be a refreshing beer that had an enjoyable flavor. I would order it again and recommend it to others.

Pours a nice reddish color with a good golden head. Aroma is tangy but mild. Flavor is sweet with a tiny bit of grassy hops, nothing too great.
