Rated 6/9/06: Amazing beer from Goose Island, to date they have yet to let me down. Pours a dirty copper color with a medium thick off-white head, ample lacing and good carbonation. The aroma is outstanding containing a slightly mellow blend of flowery hops and lots of malt. The aroma reminds me of a low key IPA. As I sip on a few of these I’m amazed at the awesome flavor. The hop characteristic is near perfect. They are very present but not overdone. Strong blend of malts keep me intrigued. The balance is perfect. Full mouthfeel with a great finish and pleasant aftertaste. Fantastic beer, I can’t say enough about this one. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2007
355 ml bottle. Deeply murky orange pour swimming with bits. Rich, cakey, reach-out-and-touch-it florally hoppy aroma with a chewy malt background. Flavour plenty more of the same, awash with flowery orange hoppiness. Heavy but refreshing. Thickly bodied hop fruitiness far outdrinking its ABV. If only this was truly representative of a typical English pint. Soonah (1120) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 16, 2007
On tap. Poured a nice pale amber color with a decent two-finger white head that receded slowly. The aroma was malt and spice with maybe a bit of floral hops thrown in. The flavor was an above average malt backbone with some good spices spinning around it and a somewhat dry, hoppy finish. Very drinkable. A great session style beer. On tap. Pours a deep amber color with small white head. Aromas of sweet malts. Medium body with tastes of light hops. Very smooth with a nice, light bitter finish. Not bad. User42649 (209) - - MAY 9, 2007
12 oz bottle, Wolfgang Puck’s, O’Hare Airport. Crystal copper color, white hed, nice lacing. Aroma of crystal malts and spicy hops. Big malty flavor, hops not over the top but well done. If available to me locally, I would make this my house ale.

Draught @ Flying Saucer Little Rock 5-2-07. Clear golden copper. Faint sour aroma, some hops. Flavor is slightly sour, with a nice nutty finish. Not as fruity as some English PA’s but a good beer nonetheless. futurerichguy (9) - USA - MAY 5, 2007 does not count
Fairly faint aroma but the hops come out on the palate. Malty finish. Cloudy light red appearance. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - APR 29, 2007
Pours a translucent golden amber with a medium creamy lacing white head. Aroma of caramel, floral, mix of citrus and Cheerios. Flavor of cereal grains, lightly sweet, some hop flavor, citrus notes and hints of coffee. AOF (306) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2007
Medium bodied english ale, orangy caramel in color. Not my favorite style, for no particular reason. Just seems kind of boring. Highly drinkable but just average all around.
