Bottle, Cellar Bar, St Andrews. Very vigourous bubbles, a little sediment supported in the glass. Thin off-white head. Aroma is fizzy fruit and hops, some malt there too. Mouthful is little coating due to the bottle-conditioned nature, but sweet, some bitternesss. Smooth. Alright, but a little too carbonated.

A pretty average beer for Goose Island. Pours amber with a white head. Citrus and malts. A good alternate beer to go out and drink with, but nothing that is completely remarkable. Decent.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2007 Bottle. I drank this all of the time when I lived in Chicago, because you could always find this at BMC bars. I come to find that I have not rated it! Pours a translucent amber with an off white head. Aroma of toffee and citrus. Very light mouthfeel. Flavor of caramel, toasted malt, and orange. Transitions to a spicy hop finish, with some lingering strong tea flavors. Nice hop profile for a pale ale, but maybe just a tad on the watery side. This is sort of a british/ american hybrid pale ale.. A good session beer.

Rictus (126) - Dothan, Alabama, USA - JAN 2, 2007
It’s dark copper/brown. Very pretty, like the color of clay only much darker. The aroma has something floralesque to it. I don’t know if you would use the terminology floral but it is kinda. I like the smell personally. It’s definitely got some mild hop bitterness. It’s got a laid back flavor and a lightly bubbly mouthfeel. It’s not watery but at the same time it’s not jaggermeister.

Airlifter (134) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - DEC 31, 2006
Amber color with a little head that lasts several minutes. Not much aroma. Nice flavor. Mildly hoppy with a little malt. Slightly bitter aftertaste; just a hint of metal. Very good.

Cloudy orange color. Small to medium head that leaves just a bit of lace. Aroma was wheat like-cloves, bitter perfume. Taste was bitter to start, with sweet finish. Medium body. Balanced aftertaste.

(Tap) Pours amber with a good-sized beige head. Aroma of floral hops, and some smooth malts. A nice hoppy, yet balanced flavor with a medium mouthfeel. This is good all-around beer.
