COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Slight hop aroma with some yeasty notes. Feels great on the tongue and the roof of the mouth. Taste is classic to the English style with an American hops flourish.

I had it from the bottle. The aroma is fruit and bread. The taste is caramel, fruit, and bread. This is smooth and very drinkable. This is a good session beer.

Bread and malt smells with some sour apple.Pours a cloudy orange with an anemic white qyuickly dissipating head. Plenty of lacing. Oily bitter flavors of leather and a little caramel malty notes. Good imitation of the style

tfontana (1039) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 27, 2017
Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear amber with nice sparkle, 1/2-finger width white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is bread, fruit, earth. Taste is caramel and bread, hint of fruit. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with watery texture, lively carbonation and crisp malt with light bitter finish. Overall, aroma and taste are not bold but there is some hop/malt balance here.

Bottle, UK import, source not recorded. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating.

Fles gekocht en geprobeerd in Luxemburg, het is een oranje rood achtig bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een vreemde geur, de smaak is licht zoet en hoppig.
