Smooth and consistent, never had a bad one..................................
A clear amber beer with a small white head and a lot of gas. Aroma is not very strong, but there is some malt, caramel and yeast. Faint taste with some bitterness at the end. Light bodied with some carbonation and faint astringency. After taste is very mild. Very easy to drink but only because it is very watery. 21-01-2018; bottle; drank in Voss, Norway (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their Januari 2018 discovery box).
The looks of the beer are nice. The beer has a chestnut color, with a nice coppery glow. The beer has a nice haziness. On top of the beer some rough off-white foam is formed. Foam retention is average. Hardly a drape is left after some time. Not the most special looking beer, but it is nice.
The smell of the beer quite nice. There aren't a lot of malt aroma's. Maybe just a sweet note. There are quite some nice hop aromas though. They are very fruity. I smell some orange, zest, more citrus fruits and some nice hints of fresh apple. The hops have a nice sour fresh fruity nose. I like it.
The taste has more malts. There is a nice full malty flavour, giving a soft sweetness. Hops are also present, but are slightly less fruity and zesty, but have more of a piney touch. Still nice though. It is well balanced. Not the most special beer, but it is a nice easy drinkable one.
The palate of the beer is fine. Light body, thin texture and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer has some citrus hop notes and a dry bitter finish. All in all, a nice beer, but not worlds most special beer. smalldog (13) - - JAN 20, 2018

Hazy auburn color with a creamy head of offwhite foam. Aromas and flavors of rich bready and caramel malt with a light blueberry and orange citrus in the background. Herbaceous and slightly bitter hops linger on the palate. danlo (3366) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2018
