Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honkers Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honkers Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one youll look forward to time and again.

Delicious! I love a good slightly sweet malty beer with balanced (not prominent) hops. This beer is very drinkable and refreshing. Its drinkability makes up for its low ABV. Easily one of my favorite everyday ales.

Aroma is bitter, tropical fruit, caramel, more fruity than caramel, earthy hops. Appearance is amber, light tan head, clear. Taste is bitter, fruity, caramel malt, grain, cereal, earthy hops, good. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, bitter fruity earthy hop aftertaste. Overall, this is a pretty solid bitter.

Bottle 12 fl.oz / Le Grain dOrge - Crissioer (CH). Amber with an average cream head and aromas of hop, caramel, slight fruity white and lemon. The taste is dry, malt, caramel, hop, slight fruity, bitter grassy-earthy, notes of lemon, zest and biscuit. Well and truly bitter.

Pours deep copper. Small head. Not much to nose bar light caramel and hops. Tastes like a session English ale but then finishes dry and hoppy unlike an English ale. Quite pleasant, but is that enough these days 🤔.

A 12 fl oz bottle, bottled on 18th November 2016 and best before 18th November 2017. Poured into a Mikkeller pint glass. It was a nice clear copper colour with a one finger off white head that slowly dissipates to a nice thin creamy layer while leaving curtain like lacing. Aromas were a bit light, but what I do get was grassy, nutty, sweet malt and hints of toffee. Tastes of toasty biscuit malt, caramel, nuttiness with hints of orange citrus. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall not my favourite style, but this is easy to drink.

Une belle bire de soif la robe ambre, la mousse crmeuse, au nez qui exprime de belles notes houblonnes sur un fond malt et une bouche la fois ronde et frache. Agrable lapro.

Nice beer. Caramel aroma - bit of sweetness to it. Red clear appearance. Good balance to the taste - mild bitterness, medium sweetness. Pleasant English style bitter - while nothing outrageous, this is a dinkable, pleasant beer.

Cerveja marrom, com nuances mbar, pouca espuma, desaparecendo rapidamente. Aroma muito suave de malte, sem graa, assim como o sabor, quase no d pra se notar nada, exceto um amargor leve no final. Totalmente desinteressante.

Bottle from GI Japan web store. Pours a nice clear amber-copper with beige lacing. Caramel malt and cardboard aroma, grassy earthiness, mild fruitiness. After a few minutes the flavour shows itself nicely, light raspberry notes with caramel, decent chewy earthy malt, fruit hop bitterness. A bit over-carbonated for my liking, firm bitterness on the tongue and lingering sweetness. Decent.
