Pours a light copper with small but lingering white head which lasts throughout. Aroma is caramel malt, toffee, citrus and leafy hops. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, fresh and zesty. Compared to all English bitters I have had this comes out better, none of the dank vegetable type taste/aroma. Very nice indeed!

A very nice brew indeed. Great color, nice head, good lacing. Excellently balanced between caramel and biscuit malt aromas and flavors, with a fruity hops presence. Superbly drinkable and sessionable. A staple that I keep going to over and over again.

copper color with small head, floral hop and malt aroma, well balanced, and a bit thin, but still a good session type beer

Bottle at Glasgow airport. Aroma of caramel, cereal, some resin notes. Nicely oily on the palate.

Origin: Bottle. Vessel: Snifter. Supplier: ASDA (Bristol). Nose is wild fruits. Pours a rich amber. Initially mild with a honey bitter kick. Quite thin body. A very drinkable beer.

Solid pale ale. I first got hooked on beer via pale ale and drank Sierra Nevada for years. This beer is comparable to that one. Very drinkable, but not too special. Lacking a bit in hops. Great mouth-feel, though...and nice balance with malt.

Bottle. Pours a dark orange/light brown beer with a big white head. Some lacing on the glass. Loved the aroma that came out of the bottle. Very IPA like aroma with hints of citrus, grapefruit and spices. Taste was really nice. Starts with hints of syrup and some fruits which lead into a bitter finish and aftertaste. Could use some more bitter notes but when the beer warms up a little, you can taste the bitter notes more. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Hazy amber color with thin head. Poured from a bottle by the bartender. Mild snappy bitterness and a farmlike maltiness on the aftertaste. I am not sure how to describe it! OK overall and quite drinkable.

I really enjoyed this one, even though its quite easy and simple. Gentle IPA-character, some yeast and fruits/citrus in the aroma. Well-balanced and the taste is softly bitter. Good!
