Do I rate by flavor or by style? I suppose by flavor, with comments on the style. This had a rich British Isles taste, I suppose coming from the malts and hops, with a bit of a peaty character thrown in there. I happen to like this flavor profile, but APA it most definitely is not.

pours clear copper gold with a medium beige head. light floral aroma. Nicely balanced. Definite malt presence with some mild hop bitter. Feels bigger than 4.3%. An enjoyable brew.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity, maybe some orange coming through and some spices. Taste is well balanced between the malt and hops, seems to be a little malty for me, again I get an orange Kool Aid taste. Little bitterness, medium body. Went well with pizza.

First sip was very dry with not much flavor to it. As I continued on though a wealth of flavors came out. Has a definite light sweetness, good malty flavor, light bitterness and and almost nutty flavor. Great beer, could drink about nine of these in a sitting.

Not quite as hoppy as I would have liked, but still not bad. Amber coloring, with a funny off-white head. Malty aroma, with some citrus mixed in. Flavor is fairly mellow, with a pretty substantial mouthfeel. Run of the mill, but not in a bad way.

Pleasant but forgettable bitter style ale. I prefer my bitters to taste a bit less like every other ale this brewery puts out, and have a load more flavor. That being said, this is a great beer to introduce relatives or friends to real craft beer with. Mild and safe enough to please the masses, but ultimately, drinkable.

Pours a nice copper colour with great carbonation and head retention. But the beer is not cleanly made, there are bitter tannins that overpower the hops. The maltiness somewhat compensates for this, but the beer is far from great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

OK, well, not bad. Poured a little more red than I thought it would - kind of a clear red-gold, with a foamy 2 finger domed head. The nose is faintly urine and a little honey, like my impression of a lot of goose island beers. Its not totally offensive, just a little off. Starts honey, a midriff of pine-resin, and finishes with some lightly bitter hops. Not offensive, a little intriguing. But pine resin? I should probably try it again just to be sure.

12 oz bottle. Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. Copper hue, lacey medium head. Citrus hops with malty notes make it bitter but quite bearable.

Pours an amber / orange with a slight off white head. Aroma is nice floral hops with some fruitiness and some sweet malt. Mouth feel is medium, malts are sweet and hops are slightly bitter. I did not get the Pale ale experience on this one but all and all a good drinking beer.
