COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Smell is yeast and light grain. Flavor is bready, slightly hoppy, with a noticeable english yeast character. Rubber in the aftertaste. Lighter bodied.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with an off white head. Light citrus and dry biscuit aroma. Light hoppy taste. Watery texture with good carbonation. Drinkable but a little bland tasting to me.

Color is copper, I’m not really smelling the fruity hop aroma but the flavor is s little malty with a light bitter finish

Poobah (442) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - JUL 2, 2015
Light bronze with a dense, medium head, some lacing and a honey, peach nose. Malty intro with a mildly-carbonated, soft palate reminiscent of an English Ale. Finishes with honey, barely ripe peaches, and a mild bitterness.

Bright golden pour, small head. Malted taste with some caramel. Bitter finish. Medium mouthful. Ok not great.

A very nice brew indeed. Great color, nice head, good lacing. Excellently balanced between caramel and biscuit malt aromas and flavors, with a fruity hops presence. Superbly drinkable and sessionable. A staple that I keep going to over and over again.

copper color with small head, floral hop and malt aroma, well balanced, and a bit thin, but still a good session type beer

Origin: Bottle. Vessel: Snifter. Supplier: ASDA (Bristol). Nose is wild fruits. Pours a rich amber. Initially mild with a honey bitter kick. Quite thin body. A very drinkable beer.

bdleedahl (436) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAR 16, 2016
Pours a nice copper colour with great carbonation and head retention. But the beer is not cleanly made, there are bitter tannins that overpower the hops. The maltiness somewhat compensates for this, but the beer is far from great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. Copper hue, lacey medium head. Citrus hops with malty notes make it bitter but quite bearable.
