Medium, lightly roasted, malt aroma. Copper color with a reluctant beige head. Medium bodied with mild, near creamy carbonation. Starts with light, fruity sweetness. Quickly followed by a very decent amount of hop. Flavor tends to go a bit watery, but it recovers. Finish has hints of sweet fruit, some peppery spice notes, and a good amount of bitter. Finishes dry. Seems more APA than EPA, but it’s very enjoyable.

imdownthepub (14553) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2014
Bottled, 355ml from Beers of Europe, Norfolk. Orange gold with fizzed white head. This is way too carbonated for me and certainly to match ’pub’ beers, wet cardboard on the aroma and initial flavour. There is a fruity sweetness within the malt, sweet orange notes then a reasonable earthy leafy hop, but the initial flavour put me off I’m sorry to say. Not for me.
