Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Pours clear copper with a fine, creamy film head. Aroma is softly hoppy, but not much else. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is also softly hoppy, okay sweet malty, but only low bitterness. Very dull.

mR_fr0g (12110) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2012
Slight hop haze. Amber in colour and tin persistent head. Good lacing. Initial fruity hop aromas fade to leave more biscuity nose. The flavour is hop driven. Similar hop character to the the IPA, just toned down. Finish is chalky and thin. Perhaps harder water would support the malt flavour and body a bit.

"nothing that really stands out, as the style dictates, but this is one of the easiest drinking and most enjoyable session beers i’ve had in quite a while. incredibly well balanced."

j12601 (11915) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 22, 2009
Bottle. Pours a rich light brown with a large and vigorous white head. Light malt and hops along with a little burnt aroma and some grain. Barely medium body, malty and rather non-descript. Finishes barely bitter. Nothing amazing, but quite drinkable, and probably in large numbers.
