shrubber85 (11615) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 4, 2006
Bottle. Fresh berry malt aroma. Medium amber color with small head. Lightly sweet malt flavor with light hops finish. An easy drinking beer - a bit light on the hops for the style but still very good.

daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 16, 2008
bottle from wisconsinbeer, thanks! Deep copper pour, barely any head at all. Aroma is very malty and some sawdust notes(previous entry below me nailed it!). Flavor is pretty plain, malty and maybe a bit nutty. Slight hop profile lends itself to the english style. Not bad, not amazing.

BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 26, 2009
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 BOTTLE: at Chris & Rob’s (St. Paul, MN) on 1.24.09. Pours a bronze/amber with an off-white head. Aroma is faint - maybe a little malt. Taste was sweet, malt, a little hop bite, and some citrus. Pretty good.

hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 13, 2002
The aroma is slightly malty. Notes of toffee and caramel. This crystal clear, deep amber beer has a small, white head. Mostly diminishing with excellent lacing. The flavor is perfectly balanced with bursts of caramel and butterscotch. Medium-length, dry finish with fresh cut fescue at the far end.
