2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light frothy head on top of a gentle red-brown body. It has an almost meaty first impression with a sweet note that goes down quite smoothly. Not particularly a fan of the after taste and I don’t really reckon I have suitable words to account for it.
Copper color with a sticky white head. Malty, sweet, hoppy nose. Unfortunately the flavor doesnt’t resemble the nose. Sweet, not much malt, a weak bitter finish. Body is quite watery. Lacks flavor... . docyit (1) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 28, 2017 does not count
Only Known American made bitter in area. Best beer in England is a Pint of Bitter.
Although did have Cask bitter at Gritty’s McGruf in Portland a few years back and thought I was back in England for a minute. Until I got my Lobster roll that is. wilnatp (703) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 24, 2017
Nothing too fancy here. A bit of malt and hops on the nose. Taste is the same with some caramel, thin bodied. Aggiebob (1141) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUL 23, 2017

Got this one from LCBO Winter pack in a can. Took this one while watching American Sniper. Light beer, wasn’t sure what what kind of beer this is. Ok beer, not great, not bad. poech73 (413) - Braine, BELGIUM - JUL 12, 2017
Clear copper colour. Not a tonne of head. Aroma is biscuit. Taste is some gingerbread, malt, and caramel. Light bitterness. Nothing special. BeardedAvenger (799) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2017
Bottle from The Pancake House, Elveden Forest Centre Parc. Fruity floral aroma. FLight chestnut. Thin white head. Light bitter. Malty. Caramel sweetness comes through into the finish. Relatively light bodied and thin. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. OK. A UK style bitter with US influences. radassace (333) - SCOTLAND - JUL 2, 2017
355ml bottle. Pours light chestnut amber with a small off white head. Nose is very malty, brown bread, toast and biscuit. Light soft carbonation, taste is very bready and biscuity. A slight toasted, nutty taste too, before leading into a light to medium bitter orange peel, apricot and grapefruit dry finish. It’s good if you’re comparing it to traditional English bitters( which are pretty bland ) but OK if not. Unremarkable beer, but nice enough to enjoy one or two before moving on to something better !
