Pours a crystal clear light copper color with a medium bubbly white head. The head is short-lived but leaves enough around the edge of the glass to create some lacing. There is moderate hop aroma with notes of sweet and dried fruit. Astringent mouth feel. Initial dry hoppy flavor fades rapidly on the palate. Leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Hop and citrus aroma. Hops to start but didnt get any malt because the lemon flavor was a bit overpowering. After a few sips my tastebuds readjusted and it wasnt bad. Could just use a bit more hops. Lips were smacking at the end from the lemon still.

Bottle from DarkLord Brother Kevin Yeehaaaaw!

Pours a slightly anemic amber; just a tad too clear to be beautiful. Aroma is a mixture of citrus and roasted malt. Nice head on the beer. Flavor is sour malt with a hint of tangerine and grapefruit. Nice hops finish. Smooth palate. Nice beer.

Nose is subtle with some malt. Pours medium copper-amber. Flavour is nicely bitter with some citrus and a touch of herbaceousness - maybe some thyme or something. Finish is long and dry, although the palate is a little watery.

Out of a bottle as part of a variety pack. Enjoyed this ale, thought it had a good taste and went down nice and easy.

Was a very smooth beer with no bitter after taste. It is rather malty but I would definitely drink it again.

A pretty average beer. Definitely a good summer brew. Theres a hoppy aroma with some ginger on the nose as well and a touch of malt. The flavor was much the same, pretty thin on the palate. Slighty bitter end but not terrible. Meh. I can take it or leave it.

Clear and shiny light orange pour with a thin but very persistent cap of butter colored head. Aromas of oranges, candy, and a slight yeasty/Belgian funk, tart and estery. The tartness in the aroma makes it into the flavor, especially noticable on the roof of my mouth. Pleasantly bitter, balananced with a touch of sweetness. A little bit thin. A different sort of APA, but no really shining attributes, and not as clean as I expect for the style.

Bottle at Galileo Cafe, OHare Airport, Chicago. Hops and spiciness apparent. Definite notes of black pepper. Akin to Sam Adams in flavour but not mouthfeel. Short, easy finish - great alternative to all the macro crap available at the airport if youre passing through.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2014 2013-12-14. No notes. Okay, relatively malt forward 3.2 overall. Bottle sample at Abraxas, Miami

2006-07-XX. Amber brown with a fingers worth of fluffy white head. Light sweet toasty malt aroma. Mild bitterness and toasty malt. Average palate. Nothing special but enjoyable. Bottle
