3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
An interesting little beer. I picked it up at a local store in West Lafayette IN. It turned out to be better than I expected. It has some good carbonation, a little bit of malt backed up with flavors of fruit and bread. It’s cool and refreshing, and the copper color is even inviting. It’s a little lighter than I expected, but that doesn’t detract too much from its overall quality.
Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with average carbonation. Aromas are of lightly toasted malts, berry fruits and a gentle hop presence which is slightly earthy, grassy and fruity. Taste is well balanced and drinkable, a nice malt centre with gentle hop bitterness over the top, slightly skewed towards the hop bitterness at the finish. Delivers classic English bitter taste profile, very drinkable. Good but unspectacular. Lynk (5) - - FEB 17, 2018 does not count

Bottle 355 ml from Morrisons, Acton. Aromas are malts, sweet honey and subtle oats. Clear amber bubbly body and small white head. Taste is bitter with malts, honey, aramel, fruitiness/plum notes. Towey1989 (3529) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 4, 2018
Keg at Rewind Bar, Leek. A clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of toasted malts, some bready malts, subtle fruit and slight spicy hops. Taste of toasted malts, some grain, slight fruit, a hint of sourness and subtle spicy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A short, dry, spicy malt bitterness in the finish. The most standard of American bitters/red ale. Drinkable but not the best.

Rating from memory so that I've got my facts and figures right. Not much in the way of tasting notes, but more on the malty end of what I prefer. Not a bad brew! tderoeck (10928) - Gent, BELGIUM - JAN 23, 2018

Clear orange beer, creamy off)white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy, smelly, bit weird, unpleasant. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very malty, grains, very watery. Aftertaste: little bitter, watery, malty, grains, cow fodder. Man, am I glad I didn't have to pay for this one.
A clear amber beer with a small white head and a lot of gas. Aroma is not very strong, but there is some malt, caramel and yeast. Faint taste with some bitterness at the end. Light bodied with some carbonation and faint astringency. After taste is very mild. Very easy to drink but only because it is very watery.
